Overview

Cyndi L K Chow, was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor to the Malaysian Bar in 1999. She is an experienced litigator who heads the Dispute Resolution Team in the firm of Josephine, L K Chow & Co. Cyndi is also the co-founder of the firm, known for its multi discipline and diversified legal practice. Cyndi has appeared at all levels of the Malaysian judiciary and is known to be able to articulate and argue various types of cases as lead counsel. Cyndi leads a team of lawyers in the Dispute Resolution department who handles all aspects of the Intellectual Property litigation and enforcement portfolio. Her experience and handling of IP cases also led to the firm being recognised and ranked by Legal 500 Asia Pacific and Chambers and Partners. Acting for various types of clients for a myriad of intellectual properties, her experience include enforcing industrial design protection, invalidation of patents to protection of copyright, from trademark infringement to passing off claims. Cyndi has the ability to deliver results for the clients each time they traverse the courtroom. Together with her partner, Peh Khaik Kew, they have established a formidable alliance to support their clients’ IP protection and enforcement needs.
